A water treatment plant plays a vital role in ensuring the community has access to safe drinking water, which is why water samples are required at various stages along the treatment process.

Collect multiple samples

Nero can collect up to five independent samples in a single flight. This means water can be sampled from various stages throughout the treatment process. Once all samples are collected, the individual sample bottles can be taken to a testing station, evaluated, and results captured – all of this in less time than sampling by hand.

Access hard-to-reach and dangerous areas

Stop personnel from contacting dangerous bacteria or trying to access hard-to-reach areas. Nero removes the personnel from the equation improving workplace health and safety while lowering operating costs.

Fast sample response

If a sample is required right after an event or something that could alter the water treatment process Nero can be sent up within minutes and collecting samples almost instantaneously. Resulting in more accurate water samples.

Benefits of using Nero

  • The human factor is removed – Personnel no longer need to go out and manually sample potentially harmful bodies of water.
  • Shorter sampling time – Sampling time is sped up, with the only setup time being to turn the drone and Nero on.
  • Multiple samples, one flight – Various points in the treatment process can be sampled in a single flight. This results in faster turnaround times and a better understanding of any potential issues in the process.
  • Zero infrastructure costs As the system is drone based there are zero infrastructure costs required by other non-mobile systems.
